I always wanted to do something like this, so this image is very inspiring. The color palette is weet, and the ship itself is very nicely rendered. What software did you use for the 3D base?

Really beautiful work on the ship, I just think the water in fron of the ship, looks a bit flat, like a sheet with texture. Really great work on the sky and ship though.
